FIA 2006 European Drag Racing Championships
I’d been looking forward to this since last year as it rained (if there’s one thing you don’t want in drag racing, it’s rain). This year though it was a scorcher. I took photos and mini videos but they still don’t capture how fast and loud these cars really are. Below there’s a snapshot and movie to wet your appetites:

- 8000 bhp
- 0-100 in less than 0.8 sec
- Fuel economy, 16-20 gallons per mile!
- 0-335 mph in 4.4 seconds!
In the movie below one of the car’s blower belt snapped at 200mph covering the car in explosive fuel create a giant fireball!
